Rice OVERSTREET and his wife Elizabeth (THOMPSON) OVERSTREET moved to Clark Co Mo in the 1830 - 1850 timeframe. The came from Jessamine Co Ky. I have info on Elizabeth's parents but not Rice's. Any information on Rice and his descendents would be appreciated.

I was told that the 21st MO Infantry was comprised of the 1st and 2nd Northeast MO volunteers during the Civil War. I just recently received some information that a James A. or James E. CRISS who was married to a Rosetta Jane MURRAY was a private in the 21st MO Infantry Co D. I have no other information on James, other than the fact he died in Chautauqua County, KS in 1884. I would like to know where/when James was born. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
