BARTON, DONLEY, MC RAE, MCRAE, THRASHER posted by Sharon Hamilton on Saturday, January 13, 2001

I am looking for information about Martha (MC_RAE) BARTON. It is believed, but not proved that her children were: Squire BARTON,  Taylor BARTON,  Nancy (BARTON) THRASHER,  and maybe  Malinda (BARTON) DONLEY.  It is also believed that her spouse was Roswell BARTON. Martha BARTON purchased 120 acres from the government in what is now Clark County on Aug. 2, 1838. The land is in the northwest corner of present day Jefferson Township. The description is Sections 6 and 7, Township 66N, 8W. She is believed to have died about (1840-1845). Does anyone have information regarding Martha BARTON, her family, land, or inheritance information? Thanks, Sharon Hamilton  sharkay@swbell.net

AMBROSE, THOMAS posted by Lew Warren on Thursday, February 22, 2001

Seeking information for Emma [THOMAS] AMBROSE, born 1847--possibly in Osage Bluff, MO. She is supposed to be listed on the 1880 Clark Township census with her husband, Thomas Jefferson AMBROSE and possibly some of her children. Does anyone have access to that census that would be willing to lookup that information for me? Thank you in advance for any help.
