Looking for anyone who might have info about my Anthony & Mauck families. They lived in Athens, Clark Co., MO before and after the Civil War, Battle of Athens. My G Ggrandfather was George Norman ANTHONY married to Susan CLARK on June 25, 1854 Clark Co. MO. Their son, my Ggrandfather was Schaffer ANTHONY married to Grace Reynolds MAUCK. Their daughter, my grandmother was Myrtle ANTHONY married to Robert Lee WOLF. Their son, my father was Donald Lee WOLF married to Mabel Lucille EVERMON. My name is Nancy (WOLF) OSTRANDER. At present time I am living in California, but trying to find my roots. This is very important to me. I hope someone out there is family and would like to find me, because I sure want to find you.

I am looking for any information on William R. NELSON who married Hattie (TOWNE) NELSON Dec. 1 , 1898 in Nettleton , Mo. Her father was Moses TOWNE. William R Nelson was technically still married to my great-grandmother Ella (WALTON) NELSON of Clarinda, Iowa, at the time of this second marriage. He had deserted Ella after my grandmother was born in1892. Nelson then disappeared from Nettleton on Feb. 22, 1902. Diane Land

I am searching for information on my great great granddad who was last known to be in Clark County, St. Francisville, MO. His name was Asa J. HEELY and his wife Sally who ended up in CO. They had three sons: Walter S. HEELY who died on 6 may 1856 and is buried in Wolfe Cemetery and was 23 years old at death. Madison U. HEELY who came to CO. but may have returned. Asa F. My Bartlett line in Clark Co is William BARLETT b. 1799 in Ky. d.1876 & 2nd wife Lucy T. Phillips RILEY b. 1812 They had Henry Clay & Lucy F. Henry Clay b.1848 d.1930 mar. Martha Alice Gray who died about 1882 when my grandmother Nona or Nonie b.1881, Wayland, Mo. was 3 mo old & 2nd Mary Jane Dunn. According to the information I have: William F. DIXON b. 1811 in Worchester Co. MD, d. 1899 in Benton Co. OR. He married Julia Ann ROUNDS b. 1814 in either Worchester Co. MD or Dearborn or Ripley Co. IN, d. 1867 Elk City, OR.  They were married somewhere in IN in 1833. They had 7 children, in their time together. Four of their children reached adulthood and married. The children grew up and lived in the areas of Benton and Lincoln Co. OR.  William F. DIXON left his father's homestead at age 22. He emigrated to Dearborn Co. IN. for six years and then moved on to Clark Co. MO, where he lived until the spring of 1845. He and his family then emigrating to what would become Corvallis, Benton Co. OR, where he became a founding pioneer. The siblings born outside of OR: John, Elmira and Corinthia all born in Ripley Co. IN. John W. was born Oct 7, 1834, died Jan.3 1857 in Benton Co. OR; Corinthia b.1836 d. 1837 in Dearborn Co. IN; and Elmira b.1838 d.Aug.1841 in Clark Co. MO. Elmira died seven days before her parents had her next sibling, brother, James Edward. James E. b. 1841 Clark Co. MO and Mary Ann b. 1844, Adair Co. MI. They both died in OR. I am interested in any information on William F. DIXON and his wife, Julia Ann (ROUNDS) DIXON and any of their ancestors. Also any records or information on John W., Corinthia, Elmira, James E., and Mary Ann DIXON.  All information will be appreciated. Thank you, Donna

My g g grandfather Franzie, Frazee or Frazey HAND came to Clark Co. Mo, about 1843 & died about 1854. He was from N.J. & was married to Margaret (Peggy) FERGUSON in 1822 in Butler Co. Oh. Their son was David, b.1828 in Marion Co. Ind. who married Hanna LA_MASTER b.1843 in Keokuk, Io. & married in Athens, Mo 1858. They had 12 children In 1901 they moved to Granite, Ok. & are bur. there. I would like to know where Frazee is bur. Margaret married a John MORRIS after his death.  Thank you.  Carol Turner

I would like information on James Richard GREGORY who married Frances Jane WILSON in Clark Co., in 1866. Between the two, they would have had several children who were not reared together. James died in Clark Co., in 1898. I am not aware what happened to Frances and her children! Would like to communicate with anyone having information on this family/families. Frances Jane WILSON married James Richard GREGORY in Clark Co., June 28, 1866. Both marriage partners would have had minor children, but some of the WILSON children, specifically Bartlett, may have been reared by another family. Mr. GREGORY reportedly died in Clark Co., March 31, 1898. Frances (WILSON) GREGORY, reportedly died in Keokuk, Iowa, in 1907. They reportedly had a daughter together, Maude Belle GREGORY, in Clark Co., in 1867.  Any information on this family will be greatly appreciated!!
