BROWN, LASLEY posted by Donna Jo Green on Tuesday, January 14, 2003

I do not remember from when I lived in Kahoka, but as a child I lived in Medill and in Kahoka. My grandparents owned a business called "Hall's Fix-it Shop". I am trying to catch up the family tree on my grandmother's side of the tree. My G-grandma passed away "Alverta Loveless" in 1966 (buried in Revere Cemetery)-- I spent may days of my young life with her and Luster "Hi" (we called him). I am attempting to put together some of "Alverta's" 1st husband's family because he was my biological Great-Grandfather:
Roy BROWN his father: Pinkney BROWN & wife are buried in Revere near Nan-nan (Alverta) Pinkney' Brown's Mother was : Amanda Hinson BROWN --also buried in Revere but I believe raised in Wyaconda.
That is were I lose the tree. Any information you would have on them I would appreciate if you could share it with me.
My grandfather Samuel LASLEY is buried in Kahoka. I have some of his tree also, but it goes into IA.
Thank you,
Donna Jo Green
